Take a picture in Vicolo del bacio
In the hamlet of Vico del Gargano, near Foggia, there’s a tiny street called “Kissing lane” – if you’re in the area with your partner, you should absolutely take a photo under the street sign of the two of you kissing, a lovely memento of your love for the years to come!

Puglia is renowned for its delicacies, so don’t miss a chance to enjoy a romantic dinner at a fine restaurant with a candlelit table, good food and wine. Some offer spectacular views over the sea you won’t soon forget (and we know them all, only the best for our guests!) or if you prefer a bucolic setting, opt for a masseria, trullo or villa in the countryside amidst century-old olive trees. There are many Michelin-starred restaurants too!
Take a sunset cruise
Enjoy the picturesque views of cities or coastline while sailing on a romantic cruise. As Puglia is a peninsula, there’s no shortage of boat charters and beautiful itineraries, like the ones starting in Porto Cesareo and head either north towards Punta Prosciutto or south towards Porto Selvaggio. Over on the Adriatic Sea, a sailing cruise to Polignano’s caves is also a favorite.
Go on a romantic hike
Take a hike in a scenic location and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings while holding hands. A great trail is the aptly named “Love path” which you can find on a map as Sentiero Natura Mergoli-Vignanotica; it connects the Baia di Vignanotica and the Baia dei Mergoli, better known by the name Baia delle Zagare. The trek brings you to two of the most striking beaches in Gargano and all of Puglia, and it owes its romantic name to the beautiful views, so impressive you’ll want to share them with your loved one.
Have a picnic
This is something we often plan for our guests, as embracing the slower pace of Southern Italy is integral to experience Puglia to the fullest, and no way is better than eating local delicacies at one with nature. With a basket of your favorite food and drinks, you can enjoy a romantic picnic at a panoramic spot or at the beach, whatever you prefer.
